As Oy Rantakara switched to geothermal heating

A seven-storey apartment building switched to geothermal Heating in Skinnarila, Lappeenranta in August.

Proheat labored a domestic Gebwell ground-source heat pump. The previous district heating equipment was dismantled in its entirety. The system consists of geothermal wells that were drilled for 1200 meters. In addition, heat recovery ventilation was installed to the roof with our partner I-Huolto.

In the future all heating and water of the housing cooperative of 30 apartments will be produced with ecological geothermal heating.

Resident's wishes of short maintenance breaks and quick execution of the project were taken into consideration during installation in order to minimize its the effects and disadvantages in actual living.
