Ecological sustainable development

The ecological dimension is the most central aspect of sustainable development. It affects the other aspects of sustainable development, creating opportunities for their realisation. An ecologically sustainable approach seeks to preserve biodiversity and the functioning of ecosystems, as well as to adapt our own activities so that nature’s tolerance is not exceeded.

By making pledges to promote ecological sustainable development at the level of action, we can work together to take care of biodiversity and help nature maintain its balance.

All the pledges made are collected in the pledge bank. They are shown on the list in order from newest to oldest and can be filtered by category. You can also browse the pledges by location on the Greenreality pledges map.
