The high level Uzbek delegation visited Imatran Lämpö Oy in April 8. The delegation consisted of representatives from the Ministry of Housing and Communal services of Uzbekistan and from the main District Heating companies. The visit was a part of the World Bank’s and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD’s) feasibility Studies related to the energy reconstruction in Uzbekistan.
The greetings of the city of Imatra were given by the mayor Kai Roslakka. Imatran Lämpö Oy presented its everyday actions. Special interest of the visitors targeted on client relations covering such as consumer substations (inc. O&M) and connections, consumer contracts, co-operation with housing companies and metering, invoicing & collecting . In addition to Imatran Lämpö Oy’s facilities the delegation made an ad hoc visit to the housing company AS Oy Vuoksenhaka. Imatran Lämpö Oy thanks the residents and the chairman of the board of the government of the housing company, Mr. Veikko Hämäläinen, for the guided tour in the building built in 1953 with extremely good technical condition. This was a great experience for the visitors.
After the visit to Imatra, the delegation visited Heat Substation manufacturer Gebwell, DH pipe manufacturer Logstor, engineering company Elomatic and burner manufacturer Oilon Oy. Furthermore, site visits to Rauhalahti CHP plant and Fortum DH pipe construction site in Espoo were made. Also, presentations by heat meter manufacturer Kamstrup, DH production line producer Uponor Infra and gas engine manufacturer Wärtsilä were arrangements.
