Lecture: Why does biodiversity matter?

1.11.2021 14:15 - 1.11.2021 15:30

Anna Vuori, the City of Lappeenranta, tells about the biodiversity.

Nature provides everything that we breathe, eat and drink. Nature also sets the limits for culture, the economy and health. In other words, humans are profoundly connected to the diverse natural network. Biodiversity is the key factor in protecting the vitally important ecosystem on Earth and the foundation of human health and well-being.
