Galleria Pihatto is an association that operates out of the Old Rectory in Lappeenranta. Its open operating model welcomes everyone. Galleria Pihatto holds exhibitions and events, and also offers its facilities to others. Its activities are managed by Kulttuuri- ja taidetila ry.

As a Greenreality partner, Galleria Pihatto is paying particular attention to waste. Targets have been set to prevent the generation of all kinds of waste, with particular attention being paid to plastic waste. The association is aiming to reduce the amount of paper and single-use products it uses, by switching from print to digital advertising and using fewer single-use cups.

Environmental priorities – such as carbon footprints, energy efficiency and emissions – will now be highlighted in its procurements. This will be visible in, for example, the introduction of environmentally friendly and recyclable packaging materials.
