My Bakery is a “modern-day grandparents place” for everyday and celebration. This cafe-restaurant offers fresh, honest and casually stylish taste experiences with a hint of retro. My Bakery is located on the edge of the Market Square in Lappeenranta.

My Bakery’s environmental and climate protection goals are:

  • Improving the company’s waste sorting by starting to recycle waste fats, improving the sorting of glass, metal and plastics and educating staff in sorting.
  • Implementing and developing new methods and innovations for reusing production raw materials and packaging.
  • Increasing the popularity of plan-based food by offering vegetarian options daily and listing them first on the menu.
  • Monitoring food waste actively

“During the partnership, we have already succeeded in improving the already well-established waste sorting and recycling. We’ve increased the opportunity to reduce the consumption of disposable products for customers, so we also have started using deposit-based, reusable takeaway containers. Additionally, environmental issues are reflected in small things and in everyday operations.
